
Daniela Valderrama González is a dedicated bilingual mental health professional with over ten years of clinical experience across Latin America, Europe, and the United States. She studied psychology in Bogota, Colombia at Universidad de Los Andes. She holds a Master’s degree in Neuropsychology from the University of Salamanca in Spain and is currently completing an additional Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She also did an intensive training in Brief Strategic Psychotherapy in Arezzo, Italy.
Daniela has extensive experience providing individual, group, and family therapy, with a strong focus on helping children, adolescents, and their parents navigate cognitive or behavioral challenges. Her therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), neuropsychological methods, and family systems techniques.
Throughout her career, she has worked in private practice, clinical settings, and hospitals, including Live Life Counseling LLC in the U.S., Neurohealth International in Colombia, Hospital universitario Santafe de Bogota, ICPSI in Santiago de Chile, and the INTRAS Memory Clinic in Spain. Her international background has shaped a multicultural and empathetic perspective toward mental health, allowing her to connect deeply with diverse populations.
Fluent in Spanish and English, Daniela is passionate about empowering families, enhancing emotional well-being, and promoting access to mental health care for all communities.
